That’s right its that time of year again where your great pal the Elf comes and tries to make your kids good again, have peace and quiet, and a clean house for the month of December. Personally I love this elf because it gives Bentley and I some us time in the morning trying to figure out what kind of shenanigans Buddy is up to that day ( Yes his name is Buddy )
Its Week one of Buddy adventures in the Wallace/Bindscheattel and He has obviously gotten into some trouble. I mean what kind of house do you think this is.. A nice one?
On his first day here he left Bentley a adorable little note to let him know to be a good little boy and that he’s here to watch him for Santa. If you’d like to Print the note I will leave the link here, it’s does cost $2.99. Or if you are feelin crafty make up your own! I just went the easy route this year because I honestly could not think of anything to say for mine, and because it was 12 Am and I needed a letter pronto.
On Day 2 Buddy took a dip in our “Elf Hot Tub” which is just him sitting in our crock pot filled with marshmallows.
Day 3 he wanted to go to outer space! Wrapping the aluminum foil around him was a bit challenging.. I painted a nice backround on some card board for him to really think he was in space.
Day 4 Buddy dressed up as spider-man and hung from the roof! This was the biggest hit for my little superhero, and my big superhero.. I got the mask from here (which was a free printable). Excuse my horrible print job, we were running out of ink!
Bentley has loved this years Elf’s adventures. We also did some super simple ideas like
- On top of the Christmas tree
- Eating our Gingerbread house
- Throwing toilet paper all over the house
- Covering the tree in Bentley’s underwear (he loved that one)
- Sitting and playing PS4/ watching a movie
- Stowing away in our over night bag when went to my mothers for the weekend.
- Eating some whip cream out of the fridge!
Over all this December has been a blast with Buddy the Elf! Hope some of these ideas come to your house! Happy Holidays!
